Im creating an online World Cup Tournament. It will
be in the same format as the proper World Cup so there'll be 14 teams,
8 Groups with the 16 group qualifiers qualifying for the knockout
stages.

You can choose from any of the international teams in
the game. Once we have 14 players, i'll pick the teams from a hat and
post the Group tables.

The Round 16 matches will begin on 29/01/10.
It will be better if everyone plays their group matches on the same day
as it will be more organized than people playing on different days and
we'll progress through the Tournament quicker.

If your unable to play on this day, please play your
matches the following day or the day after. If you haven't played your
round 16 matches by the 30/01/10 you'll be eliminated from the Tournament as the Second round matches will begin on 31/01/10.

Rules

- No quitting or disconnecting
- If your playing a Group match which ends in a draw, select "End match as a draw"
- Play the matches as ranked matches because unranked matches don't
record the results. This will help if there is any dispute between
players about the result.
- Please only apply if your able to play on either 29/01/10, 30/01/10, 31/01/10 or 01/02/10. The times will be flexible so you will have at
least 4 days to play your round 16 matches.

- The team you want to be
- The time of day you'll most likely be online
- Your timezone Example: GMT 2

The round 16 matches will begin on Sunday 01/02/10
Once the fixtures and Group tables have been posted, add each player
from your Group to your PSN friends list and play the matches then post
the result here.

Quarter Final - (31/01/10) - (01/02/10)
Semi final - (03/02/10) - (04/02/10)
Final - (05/02/10)
Third place play off - (05/02/10)


The above dates are subject to change depending on how quickly everyone plays their matches.
