Torino are unbeaten in their past six league games and morale has grown considerably as they continue targeting survival in the Italian top flight.
They will clash with Cagliari this Sunday on matchday 26 and the Granata left-back, Matteo Rubin is aware of the difficulties his side will encounter.
"We go to Cagliari to obtain an important result, as we must continue on this path of results," explained the 21-year-old player, as quoted by Sportmediaset.it.
"Cagliari are doing very well and they practically started off from that lucky win they had against us in the first round to build their current league campaign.
"When they are at home, they impose their own game, but we must not be intimidated by their league position.
"The president [Urbano Cairo] is right when he says that tomorrow's game is a very difficult one, which we must face with the highest attention and without any fear," Rubin stressed.
Torino need to maintain their one point lead over Lecce as they currently stand in 17th place with 23 points from 25 games played so far this season.
