Re: Pedro - WOW
Barcelona forward Pedro has insisted he is ready to become a first-team regular in Pep Guardiola’s side.
The 22-year-old admitted he was working hard in training and that it was time he convinced the coach to play him more regularly.
"I train every day to be a starter," he told Spanish daily Sport. "I don’t train to be on the bench.”
The
youngster has enjoyed a quite incredible rise to fame over the last 12
months, culminating in his historic achievement of scoring in six
different competitions in a single season.
However, Pedro
remembered a time when the coaching staff at Barca thought he might not
make it and remembered discussions about him leaving the club.
“We
talked about this,” he admitted. “I was looking at the season, it had
not gone well and I was afraid that I might not be able to continue [at
Barcelona].”
Finally, he admitted that if he wanted to be a regular in the Blaugrana's first eleven, it was down to him to prove his worth.
“I am around to see the openings and I must learn and exploit those opportunities,” he added.

Re: Pedro - WOW
He has been just incredible recently, magnificent youngster, glad to see a guy like him working hard to earn his respect. He will definitely continue to be important at Barca and help them this season in the La Liga, UCL, and other competitions. I have a lot of interest in the kid and want to follow everything he does, he's a stunner and purely just a nice guy to say the least. BTW I vote Yes, of course.
GO PEDRO!!!
