Milan are pressing ahead with plans to sign Manchester United defender Nemanja Vidic as the Italians prepare a busy summer transfer market.
Il Corriere Dello Sport claims that Leonardo's current Rossoneri squad will be revolutionised and the Serbian is expected to be the first to come.
Vice-president Adriano Galliani is looking at Vidic, French defender Cederic Mongongu of Monaco, and Cagliari's Davide Astori as part of a defensive overhaul.
He
is keen at providing the squad with more choices at the back.
Alessandro Nesta's proneness to injury has caused some concern, while
veteran defender Giuseppe Favalli is likely to leave the club once his
deal expires in June.
Resources will also be used to strengthen
up front. Wolfsburg's Edin Dzeko has not gone out of fashion in Milan.
He is still high on Milan's wishlist, with Klaas-Jan Huntelaar likely to be sold to make space for the Bosnian.
I don't think man utd would sell him
