Barcelona president Joan Laporta has hit out at Inter's attempts to recruit World Player of the Year Lionel Messi.
The president is aware of Inter's predilection for Messi, but he has made it clear the Spanish club are intent on keeping him.
"I
know [Inter president Massimo] Moratti likes Messi because he has a
liking for left-footed players, and Messi is the best left-footed
player in the world," Laporta told Sky Sport Italia.
"Clearly, for us he is not for sale, it's not even possible to set a price."
Laporta hinted that whilst the Messi deal is beyond question, there are other players he likes, including Mario Balotelli.
"There are many, but I cannot say more or people will think we want to buy them," he added.
"I
like many players who play in Italy, Inter and Cagliari. Balotelli? He
is a great player, but I don't know if he can arrive at Barcelona."
He is not for sale he is our best player we wont sell him
