Philippe Senderos joins Everton on loan

Swiss international defender Philippe Senderos has today joined Everton on loan until the end of the season.

Since
joining Arsenal from Swiss club FC Servette in June 2003, the 24
year-old has made a total of 117 appearances for the Club, which
included winning an FA Cup winner’s medal in 2005.

Senderos
returned to Arsenal at the start of this season after spending the
entire 2008/09 season at AC Milan, where he made 15 appearances for the
‘Rossoneri’ during his spell with the Serie A side.

A Swiss
international with 35 caps to his name, Senderos played and scored in
the 2006 World Cup and also featured in every minute of his country’s
EURO 2008 campaign.

Everyone at Arsenal Football Club wishes Philippe the best of luck during his time with Everton.

Good move for him, he gets alot more match time while Wenger gets rid of Wages and a Player he doesn't need atm.

he used to be very good, then kinda went down hill maybe from injury
but if he gets matches he might his confidence back and be able to fight for his place at Arsenal
or move to a new team

He used to be decent to be honest. After Injury his performances dipped, to play at Arsenal you do need to put your best performances each & every time.

I think he would be good for a team in last 7 or so.

Everton is a good team , it's a good choice for him.

Great signing for the Toffees, they're continuously amazing me, and I'm starting to get very interested in the club. I like their thinking and their football, and they've made some great signings so far. Donovan on loan was a great idea, and now him.

i wouldnt go that far, he needed first team football
was he often getting played at AC Milan?

so he couldnt exactly pick an amazing team
atleast with Everton i am sure he will have the chance for games

I know for fact he hasn't played as much as he should with Milan's first-team, that's kind of bloody obvious with Pirlo and Becks and Dinho and all, but just saying he's still an absolute class player in my eyes and clearly underrated. He'd do great at Everton imo.

i think it was great for Everton to land him on loan as we need the back up and for what i saw of him against wigan he did alright so things can only improve from there.

hopefully he does a good job while he is at everton

of course he's already played a decent match for them
